School of Laughs
What is the Rik Roberts “School of Laughs”

Everybody starts somewhere.  In comedy, that usually means a smoky bar with no help.  In Nashville, I’m out to change that.  The S.O.L. provides a comedy incubator to help take you from the page to the stage.  I teach you how to develop your material, design your set, utilize improvisation and get the gigs.  The videos on this tumblr are from students first live appearance after 6 sessions of writing and performing classes.  In most cases, these students hadn’t even written a joke before the first class. Google most of them now and you’ll see they are working and developing every time the hit the stage.
